About
Tralee Art Group (TAG) exists to foster an interest in visual art in Tralee and the surrounding area. It provides a meeting point for artists, demonstrations, arranges exhibitions, occasional outings, painting and sketching sessions for its members.
TAG formed in 1979, membership covers a wide geographical area. Our first exhibition was held in the Old Town Hall , with the help of Monsignor Pat Ahern, founder member of Siamsa Tire National Folk Theatre, Tralee.
Membership
All ages, all learning
Early members included professional artists Sirah Larkin, Mary Flynn, Jeremy Tindale, Jane Savage, Mary Delmage, Ronnie Moore, Jane Hilliard, and Elaine Reardon, who all worked alongside some enthusiastic amateurs.
One member, Helen Shanahan, opened the gallery “Bin Ban” which is now located on the outskirts of Tralee (Fenit side). Another member, founder of the Wellspring Gallery, Louise O’Donnell, is the daughter of Maeve O’Donnell another former member of TAG.

Tralee Art Group are delighted to introduce the another of our members, Eileen Corcoran, living just outside Tralee.
For the coming months, we will be introducing TAG members to you by showcasing their works as individuals. Profiling each member and their work over the coming months, we hope, will help you get to know TAG members and their individual personalities & styles.
Contact
Tralee Art Group met the first Monday of every month at 7 p.m. When the first Monday is a bank holiday the meeting is moved to the following Monday. Meeting's take place at Baile Mhuire Day Care Centre located next to Balloonagh Church, Tralee.
